Usually silence is golden…but not during RAAM! We have only just had a moment to find internet access, so we apologise for the silence. We are in a rush here, but in short, we are storming ahead…at this rate I think we are set for a 6.5 day finish, so all is well. The cyclists are doing an incredible job, with the Rockies yesterday and a few monster climbs, they have been absolute legends.
Have to mention the crew – it’s bloody hard work!! But we seem to be getting into a rhythm now and sleep, whilst brief, is there…occassionally. I must also mention (and I am pretty sure this must be a RAAM first), that while we have no time to sleep, Steve somehow managed to get a haircut in Walmart…remarkable.

Great photos !
Hey guys. Awesome photos, and looks like you guys are making great progress. Sorry but I had to laugh when I read about the Spag Bol incident in the RV as I could just imagine JJB laughing (high pitched) at the calamity of it all !! Keep at it, stay positive, we are watching you all the way.
Am sooo thrilled to receive news!!! congratuations thus far…..the scenery is spectacular and the stories captivating….thank you for the update.
Go team go!
Arlene
You are all amazing, can’t believe how fast you are going. Loving the pictures and blog, thank you, go, go ,go…..! The Henleys Xxx
Great to see some pictures – I’ve been tracking the amazing progress on the RAAM website – first in the group for some time now! Also you are beating the Germans
Stunning scenery, very smart and very very fast riders and I can only imagine how hard it is to crew a team always on the move at about 20mph for 3000 miles – each day nearly 500miles passes!
Shame the RV is a boneshaker – I was imagining luxury smooth there..
BTW it’s raining back in the UK, a country that’s going to seem very small when you get back
